Pediatric Rehabilitation Physician

Position Overview

This role involves providing specialized clinical care within the Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM) team at a leading academic medical center. The physician will contribute to a multidisciplinary Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, supporting inpatient and outpatient services for children with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive clinical care to pediatric patients with rehabilitation needs.
• Contribute to the education of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
• Engage in scholarly activities and research opportunities within pediatric rehabilitation medicine.
• Participate in program development and interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with fellowship training in pediatric rehabilitation medicine.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.
• Eligible for faculty appointment and medical licensure in Texas.
