Physician - Pediatric Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

About the role

Join one Pediatric Physiatrist and two Physician Assistants in a well-established pediatric sub-specialty practice. Opportunity for Medical Directorship if desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consults and care at Sanford Children’s Hospital and at the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Lifescape.
• Offer comprehensive regional clinical pediatric rehabilitation services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary outpatient settings with PT/OT/ST/seating and positioning psychology, orthotics and prosthetics, and specialty rehab/therapy clinics.
• Maintain an academic interest and contribute to the development of comprehensive regional clinical pediatric rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Physiatrist.
• Strong clinician with an interest in maintaining an academic interest and aiding in the development of comprehensive regional clinical pediatric rehabilitation services.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting with PT/OT/ST/seating and positioning psychology, orthotics and prosthetics, and specialty rehab/therapy clinics.
• Ability to provide inpatient consults and care at Sanford Children’s Hospital and at the inpatient rehabilitation unit at Lifescape.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of South Dakota.
