Physician Office Supervisor

Supervisory Duties

• Supervise the orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Aid with performance evaluations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings or committees addressing issues and implementing new services.
• Ensure staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.

Education Requirements

• A high school diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of experience can be used in lieu of education, if applicable.

Additional Preferences

• Medical Assistant certification.
• 3-5 years of administrative or clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with medical billing and coding.
• Hiring and compliance experience.
• Previous supervisor experience (a plus).
