Physician Office Registered Nurse, Cardiology, Baptist Downtown

Job Responsibilities

• Scheduling care, treatment, follow up visits, and diagnostic tests per physicians
• Handling and processing prescriptions and referrals
• Performing waived test list in laboratory
• IV Therapy
• Managing phone calls from patients, providing appropriate advice and instructions
• Educating patients and their families about cardiovascular conditions, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications
• Determining urgency of patient's condition
• Administering EKGs to patients as ordered by physicians
• Providing instructions on medication management, dietary changes, and other therapeutic interventions
• Aiding other team members as needed
• Providing compassionate patient care and support throughout the visit

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensed Registered Nurse

Qualifications

• Preferred Education & Credential Requirements: Basic Life Support (BLS) Required, Licensed Registered Nurse Required
