About the role
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an outstanding obstetrician-gynecologist for a full-time position within the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is an exciting opportunity to expand the Department’s services. Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians interested in resident education and direct patient care at an academic center.
Responsibilities
- Supervise resident continuity clinics and gynecologic teaching services
- Provide in-hospital gynecologic consultation
- Have an active role in medical student education
- Provide care at five outpatient sites and one labor and delivery facility
- Supervise a faculty practice with 26 obstetrician-gynecologists, four gynecologists, and 16 nurse-midwives
- Participate in the Ohio State University College of Medicine’s residency program
Requirements
- MD or DO or equivalent
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program
- Obtain licensure from the State of Ohio Medical Board
- Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
Qualifications
- Earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), doctorate (PhD) or other terminal degree in the relevant field
- Experience in minimally invasive surgery, family planning, vulvar disease, menopause, pediatric and adolescent gynecology, and breastfeeding
