Physician - OBGyn, Gynecologic Surgeon, MIGS (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

About the role

The Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University is seeking a physician specializing in OBGyn, Gynecologic Surgery, and Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS). Ideal candidates are board-certified or eligible physicians with fellowship training in MIGS who are interested in resident surgical education and direct patient care in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise resident continuity clinics, the gynecology teaching service, and provide in-hospital gynecologic consultation.
  • Participate in medical student education.
  • Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in general obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine, gynecologic oncology, urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, family planning, and women's preventive health.
  • Contribute to research and scholarly activities.

Requirements

  • MD or DO or equivalent
  • Subspecialty fellowship in MIGS
  • Successful completion of an accredited residency training program required
  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Eligible for State of Ohio medical license
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at the assistant or associate professor level – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
