Physician - Medical Director of Non-invasive Cardiology/Imaging (TMH)
Duties
- Practice in the area of non-invasive cardiology.
- Provide excellent patient care.
- Be actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure.
- Must have completed an internal medicine residency program, as well as cardiovascular fellowship program.
- Must be board certified / eligible in cardiovascular disease.
About the Role
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute seek a Medical Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology/Imaging (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor).
The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Charleston, WV. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.
