About the role
Community Physician Network is seeking a team-oriented & skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist who is motivated to make a difference in their community.
Responsibilities
- Based primarily at Community Hospital South with outreach some outreach opportunities in the south market
- Part of a Cardiovascular Product Line consisting of 49 Cardiologists, 4 Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 7 Vascular Surgeons, and approximately 50 APPs
- Offering a fully integrated advanced program with all services except for transplantation
- Accredited for chest pain care with 24/7 STEMI coverage
- Offering programs in structural heart, impella, heart failure, cardio-oncology, and pulmonary hypertension
Requirements
- Licensure & Certification: American Board of Cardiology certification, Indiana medical license required
- Desired Requirements: Interest in growing an outpatient practice, interest in advanced imaging (though not required), welcome multidisciplinary approach to patient care, excellent communication skills fostering collaboration with all members of care team, develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians, embrace PRIDE values (PRIDE: Patients First, Relationships, Integrity, Innovations, Dedication, and Excellence)
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Completion of an ACGME/ACGIE accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Completion of an ACGME/ACGIE accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Collaborative approach to patient care
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
- Interest in advanced imaging (though not required)
