About the role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled physician to join an outpatient practice, focusing on interventional pain management.
Responsibilities
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Developing evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
- Performing interventional procedures such as epidural steroid injections, facet injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and peripheral nerve blocks.
- Managing candidates for advanced therapies like spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, and intrathecal drug delivery systems.
- Collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes and educating patients on diagnoses and treatment options.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and staying current with advances through CME.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution with completion of a Pain Medicine fellowship.
- Board Certified or Eligible in Pain Medicine.
- Eligibility for unrestricted Florida medical licensure.
- Experience with interventional pain procedures; neuromodulation experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
