Evaluation, Diagnosis, and Treatment
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Perform a wide range of interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Facet injections
- Medial branch blocks
- Radiofrequency ablation
- Peripheral nerve blocks
Treatment Options
- Evaluate and manage candidates for advanced pain therapies, including:
- Spinal Cord Stimulation (SCS)
- Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) stimulation
- Peripheral Nerve Stimulation (PNS)
- Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems (Pain Pumps)
Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, and care coordinators to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, expectations, and long-term pain management strategies.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school (or foreign equivalent).
- Completion of an accredited Pain Medicine fellowship.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine through: Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R).
- Experience performing interventional pain procedures; neuromodulation and implant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
