Physician - Interventional Pain Management

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans using interventional techniques.
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures such as nerve blocks, epidural steroid injections and radiofrequency ablation.
  • Evaluate clinically appropriate candidates for neuromodulation, intrathecal pump procedures, and implant procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists and primary care physicians, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and the various treatment options available.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in pain management and interventional techniques.
  • Take after hours, off-site call once every 4 to 6 weeks to provide urgent patient care as needed.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution or foreign degree equivalent.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology/Pain Medicine/PM&R with completed fellowship training in Pain Management.
  • Valid and unrestricted medical license or medical license eligibility in the state of Florida.
  • Experience in interventional pain management techniques, including implant procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
