About the Role

Ochsner Health Baton Rouge is seeking a full-time, board-certified/board-eligible Interventional Pain Management physician to join its expanding service line. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in comprehensive patient care in both outpatient and perioperative settings, with a strong skill set in pain interventional procedures.

A monthly outpatient call rotation is shared among physicians within the group. There is no inpatient call or hospital consults required.

Preferred candidates will have completed fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management, demonstrate a strong interest in chronic pain management, and be capable of providing interventional and comprehensive care in outpatient and perioperative settings. The successful applicant will be comfortable developing relationships within an expanding referral network and committed to using comprehensive electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care in outpatient and perioperative settings
  • Perform pain interventional procedures
  • Participate in a monthly outpatient call rotation
  • Develop and maintain relationships within an expanding referral network
  • Utilize comprehensive electronic medical records (EPIC platform)

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Pain Management
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management (preferred)
  • Strong interest and experience in chronic pain management
  • Ability to provide interventional and comprehensive care in outpatient and perioperative settings
