Physician - Internal Medicine Ambulatory Faculty

Responsibilities

• Provides medical care for patients in an ambulatory setting.
• Teaches HonorHealth Internal Medicine residents in the practice of ambulatory internal medicine.
• Assists in the coordination of various curriculum areas.
• Performs selected administrative duties for the residency and the hospital as assigned.
• Functions as a role model for resident physicians in the clinical practice of internal medicine.
• Participates and develops educational programs for resident physicians and other faculty members.
• Participates in scholarly activities at the state, regional, or national level.
• Affords assistance and supervision to resident physicians in scholarly activities.

Essential Functions

• Cares for patients at HonorHealth or HonorHealth Medical Group.
• Serves as a supervisor for resident care at HonorHealth or HonorHealth Medical Group.
• Engages in scholarly activities and faculty development educational programs.
• Participates in residency, hospital, and community-related committees as assigned.
• Contributes to teaching of students, residents, and faculty at conferences.
