About the Role

Mercy Medical Center – Redding, California
A Level II Regional Trauma Center with a closed ICU, no procedures, and no codes.
Certified Stroke Center.
Average 16-19 encounters.
Vituity staffs both the Emergency Department and scribe program – providing care across the continuum to deliver a coordinated acute care experience for every patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Assess patient conditions and adjust treatments accordingly.
• Document patient interactions and progress in electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified in Hospital Medicine.
• Current CA state license.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital medicine preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
