The Opportunity

Up to $100k sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
Seeking Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians.
Current CA state license is a plus.

9-, 10-, and 11-hour shifts with high quality and experienced nursing.

About the Role

Mercy San Juan Medical Center – Carmichael, California
A Level II Trauma Center with nice trauma consultants;
The ED has 31 licensed beds (flexed up for hall beds and holding patients)
and sees 80,000 annual visits.
Mercy San Juan is also a STEMI receiving Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Daily ED Pharmacy coverage;

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, timely, and effective emergency care to patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as necessary.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and maintain medical records.

Requirements

  • Current CA state license.
  • Board Eligible/Certified in Emergency Medicine.

Qualifications

  • Experience in emergency medicine preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage high patient volumes and stressful situations.

Skills

  • Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
