The Opportunity

About the Role

The position involves working in a four-hospital system at:

• Adventist Health Hanford – Hanford, California
• Adventist Health Selma – Selma, California
• Adventist Medical Center – Reedley, California
• Adventist Health Tulare – Tulare, California

The practice is a Primary Stroke Center with a 50-bed facility and a 12-bed Emergency Department. It has an annual volume of 36,000 with a 20% admit rate and a large network of multiple specialists.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Medicine physician, responsibilities include:

• Treating a wide range of medical emergencies
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Providing patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Teaching and mentoring current residents

Requirements

Requirements include:

• Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine
• Current CA state license

Qualifications

Qualifications include:

• Experience in emergency medicine
• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Estimated annual base compensation of $275,000 – $900,000, depending on site, specialty, clinical volume, schedule, and experience.

Compensation for part-time and per diem roles is prorated based on clinical hours worked. In addition, Vituity physicians participate in our partnership model from day one, which includes profit distributions, equity ownership, and K-1 tax advantages. Total compensation including partnership income varies by site and may significantly exceed the range shown.
