About the role

As part of our Internal Medicine team, you will manage a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults and field clinics throughout Alaska.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of patients at ANMC, a Level II Trauma center serving over 30 medical specialties.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to provide comprehensive care to Alaska Native and American Indian patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine and Hepatology.
  • Current license to practice medicine in Alaska.
  • Experience in providing care to Alaska Native and American Indian populations.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Passion for community service and healthcare delivery in rural Alaska.
