About the role

The Christ Hospital Health Network and The Christ Hospital Physicians Heart and Vascular Institute are seeking a General Cardiologist to join their existing Cardiology practice. This individual will be a fully integrated cardiologist in their practice and service line. The successful candidate will quickly establish collaborative relationships with TCHHN medical staff leadership and physicians. The candidate will actively participate in clinical care delivery, quality outcomes, strategic direction, program development, research coordination and outreach. This individual will serve as a key contributor in the hospital’s effort to achieve recognition as one of the nation’s top ten community hospital-based cardiovascular programs.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly establish collaborative relationships with TCHHN medical staff leadership and physicians
  • Actively participate in clinical care delivery, quality outcomes, strategic direction, program development, research coordination and outreach
  • Serve as a key contributor in the hospital’s effort to achieve recognition as one of the nation’s top ten community hospital-based cardiovascular programs

Requirements

  • Candidate must be level III and board eligible or certified in echo and nuclear
  • Must have the ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License and DEA
  • Level III, board eligible or certified in cardiac CT angiography desired

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Board certification in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics
  • Board eligibility or certification in Cardiovascular Disease
