OSF Healthcare’s Cardiovascular Institute, a group of 55+ Cardiologists, is growing and looking to add a General Cardiologist to a practice in Galesburg, IL, at OSF St. Mary Medical Center.

Join a group of 3 general cardiologist and 2 APPs with the support of the larger CVI group. Opportunity to grow this practice into a hub for the region, and care for the sickest patients right in their community.

The OSF Cardiovascular Service Line, with headquarters in Peoria, IL, works in conjunction with 17 area hospitals and 9 clinics to provide the most comprehensive services available for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

Delivering our patients special care through CV surgery, MCS, Transplant, Aortic Center, Structural Heart, Advanced HF, Cardio One, Cardio OB, more than 300 STEMI’s a year.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Doctorate
  • Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state. Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies).
  • Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
