Physician - Gastroenterology: BMG Gastrointestinal Specialists Foundation/Desoto

About the role

Baptist Medical Group is seeking BC/BE General Gastroenterologists to join their 1000+ physician medical group. This is an employed opportunity with competitive base salary, RVU-based productivity incentives, and potential to earn over $1,000,000 annually. The position also offers a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities

• Expand the gastroenterology practice into a new hospital located 15 minutes from downtown Memphis
• Join an experienced GI at the new DeSoto location, serving as an extension of the larger Memphis-based GI group
• Treat a growing patient population with strong referral base and immediate volume
• Work in a call schedule of 1:3 with hospitalist admitting unless urgent, with hospitalists on-site 24/7
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment including Olympus scopes, MediVator washers, Scope Buddy in the washroom, and Irby argon gas and cauterizers for bleeding and ulcer treatment
• Benefit from a strong medical, surgical, and critical care support system

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Experience with ERCP is preferred but not required
