About the role

The Division of Gastroenterology at AtlantiCare is seeking several BE/BC general and advanced endoscopy trained Gastroenterologists to join their growing team and incoming nationally recognized division chief. The new medical school with academic partnerships and multidisciplinary collaborations in cancer care will strengthen their efforts towards achieving the division's goals.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of faculty, clinicians, and staff
  • Expand advanced GI services, including endoscopy, inpatient, and outpatient care
  • Serve as a hands-on leader, rounding, consulting, and managing complex GI cases
  • Drive strategic growth for the GI service line in collaboration with system leadership and community

Requirements

  • Board Certification in Gastroenterology
  • Advanced Endoscopy Training
  • Experience in Pancreatobiliary, Motility, and IBD services

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Research and teaching abilities
