PHYSICIAN - GASTROENTEROLOGIST
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative medical services to patients with gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform various endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to, upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
- Manage acute and chronic GI conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Collaborate effectively with primary care physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Commit to continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in gastroenterology.
- Actively participate in departmental and hospital committees as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
- Eligibility for unrestricted Ohio medical licensure.
- DEA certification and hospital credentialing eligibility.
- Demonstrated competency in: Diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, Inpatient gastroenterology consultation, Management of common GI disorders, Preventive colorectal cancer screening programs.
- Commitment to patient access, rural community care delivery, and collaborative team-based practice.
