About the role

The Essentia Health Family Medicine practice emphasizes trust, respect, and teamwork. The Primary Care Physician leads a Care Team that includes MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, LPNs, and ancillary staff to deliver patient‑ and family‑centered acute, chronic, and preventive care. Physicians utilize Essentia Care Processes and collaborate with numerous medical and surgical specialties within the Essentia Health network.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Family Medicine

Pay

• Base compensation: $329,000
• Potential additional compensation through bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based pay
• Union‑represented position

Schedule

• Full‑time (36 patient‑contact hours per week)
• Average of 18–20 patients per day
• Day/Eve rotation: 08:00 – 17:00
• Rotating after‑hours call schedule
• No call obligation on weekends or holidays
