About the role

Work alongside 12 physicians and 6 advanced practice clinicians, supported by a dedicated team. ZERO Call! In an effort to maintain work‑life balance for our providers, Essentia has implemented a ZERO Call model. All after hours call (not including OB, hospital and SUD/MOUD call) is covered by a separate call team. Access to on‑site lab, x‑ray (including mammography), urgent care, behavioral health, community health workers and sports medicine. Benefit from an established patient base. Located in Duluth, MN – a vibrant community with a population of over 90,000.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care with an anticipated 36 patient contact hours per week.
  • Utilize EPIC medical records with DAX AI.
  • Use digital X‑ray with rapid results.
  • Participate in a team‑based practice with no after‑hours call (ZERO Call model).

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Practice.

Qualifications

  • Education Qualifications: Licensure/Certification Qualifications Family Medicine – OB is Optional (0.6 – 1.0 FTE).
  • Flexible starting FTE: 0.6 – 1.0.

Pay

Base compensation $329,000. Eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, 36 patient contact hours per week.
  • Clinic hours: 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday‑Friday) and 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Saturday).
  • ZERO Call model – no after‑hours call (excluding OB, hospital, and SUD/MOUD).
  • Flexible shifts available.
