Helping patients and families is at the heart of Akron Children's mission. As the only freestanding, independent pediatric hospital in the region, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, guideline-directed care for adults with congenital heart disease. The role combines direct patient care, program oversight, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and growth strategy aligned with institutional goals.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board certification in Pediatric Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease
• ACHD board eligibility or certification
• Eligibility for medical licensure in the state
• Demonstrated experience caring for adult congenital heart disease patients
• ACHD board certification
• Experience in program building or leadership
• Experience working across pediatric and adult healthcare systems
• Academic interest in education, quality improvement, or clinical research
