Medical Director of Adult Congenital Heart Disease

About the role

The Medical Director of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD) program is sought to establish and lead a new clinic serving the growing population of teenagers and young adults with congenital heart disease in the Orlando area.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the ACHD clinic, including clinic location and operational logistics.
• Expand access and services for ACHD patients in the Orlando area.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood.
• Support the post-operative management of ACHD patients.

Requirements

• Board certified/eligible in Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD).
• Dual training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Cardiology.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing patients with congenital heart disease.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and maintain a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Expertise in adult congenital heart disease management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is typically Monday through Friday, with some weekend coverage as needed.
