Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center seeks a Breast Imaging Radiologist to join the Department. Academic rank and track will be commensurate with academic record and experience.

Department/Division Overview

The Ohio State University Department of Radiology is experiencing significant growth in research, education, and clinical missions, positioning it as a national leader in imaging innovation and care delivery. The Center for Imaging Excellence (CIE) brings together multidisciplinary teams to accelerate translational research in MRI, CT, and PET imaging, with a focus on artificial intelligence, theranostics, and advanced imaging technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Breast Imaging Division of the Department of Radiology.
  • Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Breast Imaging Service.
  • Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Breast Imaging Service.
  • Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
    • Counsels and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level.
    • Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
    • Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
  • Research and Scholarship:
    • Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
    • May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials.
    • Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (ABR, ABOR).
  • Completion of Subspecialty fellowship in Breast Imaging by time of appointment.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience level.
