Physician Cardiologist Part Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a Full Time Cardiologist!
Responsibilities
- Examining, diagnosing, and treating patient conditions and disorders of the heart.
- Documenting and reviewing patients' histories.
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests including EKG’s, echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests and stress echocardiograms.
- Performing cardioversion procedures when necessary.
- Providing cardiology consultations in hospital setting including ED and acute care.
- Educating patients about disease prevention and detection.
- Collaborating with other medical and non-medical personnel.
- Ensuring coordination and appropriate referrals for patient care and access across services.
- Supervising Clinic APP(s) in performing stress tests and other clinical services as may be determined.
- Participating in performance improvement and quality initiatives in collaboration with the Medical Director.
Qualifications
- A Medical Degree and the successful completion of a residency in general cardiology.
- Board certified/eligible and state license.
- Current experience practicing Cardiology within 2 years; preferably in a community setting.
- The ability to keep updated on the latest medical technologies.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good teamworking, leadership, and organizational skills.
