Physician, Breast Surgical Oncology (Full-Time, Laguna Hills & Newport Beach)

About the role

The physician will provide care in Newport Beach and Laguna Hills, serving patients throughout Orange County. The communities offer outstanding coastal living, excellent schools, year-round outdoor recreation, and convenient access to Southern California's beaches, cultural attractions, and major transportation hubs.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in Newport Beach and Laguna Hills, serving patients throughout Orange County.
• Work closely with specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, breast imaging, and reconstructive surgery at Orange Coast Medical Center and Saddleback Medical Center.
• Participate in weekly breast tumor board conferences and coordinated treatment planning.
• Access MemorialCare's extensive physician network and support services.
• Dedicated clinical and operational support designed to enhance physician efficiency and patient experience.

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
• Demonstrated commitment to multidisciplinary breast cancer care.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.
• Epic EMR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.

Pay

Base Salary Range: $425,000 to $458,000
