Physician- Breast Surgical Oncologist

About the Role

The Division of Surgical Oncology at MetroHealth System and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is seeking an academic breast surgeon at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to join the full‑time faculty. The position will be based in the new state‑of‑the‑art breast center opening in summer 2026, where breast surgeons work closely with a multidisciplinary breast care team to provide comprehensive care for patients with breast disease.

The Center for Breast Health at MetroHealth has been fully accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) since 2011 and is designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology with a breast focus.
• Excellent clinical and technical surgical skills.
• Strong interest in teaching, research, and active collaboration in multidisciplinary patient care.
• Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor.
