About the Role

MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Cardiology, Scarborough, is seeking a patient-centered, respectful, flexible, and detail-oriented Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate (PA) to join our Structural Heart team. This role provides programmatic support across the Cardiovascular Service Line (CVSL) and will be based at MMC Portland with opportunities for outreach to Scarborough and York Hospital as needed.

Join a team of Advanced Practice Providers and physicians dedicated to Structural Heart disease. The primary responsibility is to pre-screen all applicants for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and other advanced cardiac valve procedures, ensuring patients meet the organization's established guidelines. This role involves significant collaboration with physicians, cardiac departments, outside medical facilities, patients, their families, and other support services.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Associate (PA) program.
  • Two years of ACNP or PA cardiology experience required; not accepting new graduates or APPs new to cardiology.
  • Current license issued by the State of Maine or eligible for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $120,734 to $164,056. Total compensation packages may include recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives, and other premiums based on eligibility.
