Physician Assistant – Surgical ICU-Burn ICU/Trauma – Nights - Cornell Campus
About the role

Join an action-oriented team at an Ivy League medical center, and go to the next level in your PA career. This position will be shared between the Surgical ICU, Burn ICU and Trauma service lines. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary environment caring for critically ill patients with complex surgical, medical and burn injuries.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Surgical ICU, Burn ICU and Trauma service lines.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency in surgical critical care.
Requirements
- Background in Surgery
- Critical care experience
- Preferred: Strong new graduates with a demonstrated passion for managing surgical critical care patients
- Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies
- NYS licensure and NCCPA certification
- BLS/ACLS certification
- DEA certification
- ATLS certification

$161,000-$193,000/Annual
