About the role

Join a highly collaborative Surgical Subspecialties team of 22 physicians and 9 Physician Assistants that prides itself on exceptional teamwork, communication, and provider autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Extensive hands-on surgical experience as a first-assist in the OR
• Responsibility for ED and inpatient consults, admissions, rounding, discharges, and invasive bedside procedures
• Gain exposure to a diverse case mix spanning General, Thoracic, Vascular, Colorectal, and Plastic Surgery, including robotic-assisted procedures, vascular interventions, breast reconstruction, thoracic surgery, and more

Requirements

• Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
• Training: Certified or board-eligible Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Experience: 1+ years’ experience as a Physician Assistant in surgery or related setting
