Hospitalist Physician Assistant (Nights)

About the role

We are seeking a Part-Time Night Physician Assistant to join our team in Bridgeton, Missouri. This role is designed to support your professional growth and connection to a vibrant community.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with two nocturnist physicians on the night shift, managing admissions and responding to rapid responses and stroke alerts.
• Welcome the challenge of highly complex cases. Our ICU is closed, and procedures and codes are not required.
• Enjoy 24/7 in-house specialty support in all but just a few specialty areas.
• Work closely with the nursing staff and specialists throughout the hospital to ensure patients receive the best care possible.

Requirements

• Board certification required.
• Prior hospitalist inpatient experience strongly preferred, or hospital-based experience as a Physician Assistant.
• If a new grad PA, inpatient rotations during training in hospital medicine are required.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
