Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance of ARC-PA standards and NYS Office of the Professions requirements
- Contribute to ARC-PA accreditation reports, self-study activities, and program analysis
- Teach and/or evaluate instruction in core/professional courses as assigned by the Director
- Affiliate in the development, implementation, coordination, and continuous review of the curriculum
- Update didactic course syllabi, instructional materials, and learning objectives
- Participate in the PA Program admissions process
- Deliver student instruction and assess learning outcomes
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
- Provide academic advisement and coordinate remedial instruction as needed
- Serve on the Curriculum and Academic Affairs Committee and other approved program or University committees
- Advises students and monitors their academic progress, providing reports on each advisee's development
Requirements
- Master's degree required
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience
- License/Certification: Current NCCPA certification, State of New York PA license or eligibility for New York State PA licensure
