Non-Tenure: Clinical Faculty

Part-time, non-tenure track 11-month academic appointment starting in Fall 2026.

About the role

Clinical Faculty position within the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at Texas A&M University College of Dentistry. The role involves clinic and didactic restorative dentistry training for residents in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clinical treatment of patients within the parameters of accepted treatment plans.
• Participate in didactic instruction based on areas of expertise.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.

Requirements

• DMD degree from a U.S. or accredited dental school.
• Eligible for licensure in Texas.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited General Practice Residency (GPR) or Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD).
• Three or more years of experience in all fields of general dentistry.
• Strong clinical skills and a strong background in clinical practice.
• Familiarity with current dental technologies, including delivering CEREC crowns with precision.

• Strong commitment to teaching and service.
