About the role

The Atlantic Orthopedic Institute at Morristown Medical Center is seeking a Per Diem Orthopedic Physician Assistant to cover evenings and weekends for their supportive and well-established outpatient orthopedic team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in orthopedic cases
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Evaluate and treat patients in the office
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
  • Certified by the National Board of Certification of Orthopaedic Physician’s Assistants
  • AcLS and BLS certification required
  • 3-5 years of orthopedic experience preferred

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Enthusiastic, willing to learn, and takes on challenges
  • Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Efficient in a fast-paced environment

Pay

Final compensation and benefit eligibility may vary by role and employment status and will be confirmed at the time of offer.

Schedule

The position is available on a Per Diem basis, covering evenings and weekends.
