Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Reno NV

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Medical Practice in Reno, NV. We are looking for a compassionate provider, who pays attention to detail, is passionate about helping others and providing high-quality patient care. Experience in pain management is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate as well.

Responsibilities

• Order and review diagnostic studies when medically relevant
• Manage Patient care and progress (including medication management and procedures)
• Procedures to include Joint injections, trigger point injections, US guided injections, Migraine therapies (botox) we will provide training
• Referral to MDs for procedures such as Epidural injections, Kyphoplasty, etc.
• Consultation/Collaboration with the MD’s, PA/NP’s, and other support staff for comprehensive care
• Documentation/Charting-timely and accurate
• Patient follow up and regular progress visits
• Patient education as to treatment plan options, diagnosis, and medication management
• Attend company meetings as necessary.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Current and Active Nevada PA/NP license
• Pain management experience a plus, but we are willing to train as well
• Obtain both the Nevada CS pharmacy license and the DEA license

Schedule

M-F 8a to 5p (8 hr day) or four 10 hr days

Pay

$130k -135k per year (with bonuses -depending on experience)
