About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Primary Care Clinic in Northern Colorado are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, full-time availability, and a focus on excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to patients in accordance with medical standards and protocols.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management.
  • Prescribe medications as necessary and authorized by medical staff.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities.

Requirements

For Physician Assistants

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado.
  • PA-C certification from NCCPA.
  • Unrestricted DEA permit.
  • Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid services.
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

For Nurse Practitioners

  • Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice or compact privileges.
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
  • Unrestricted DEA permit.
  • Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid services.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay

The pay range for this full-time position is $110,577 - $144,966 annually. Pay is dependent on relevant experience.
