Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care - Craig, CO

About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Primary Care Clinic in Craig, CO are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, full-time availability, and a focus on excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate
• Prescribe medications as indicated
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Required 2-3 years primary care experience
• Experience seeing pediatrics preferred
• Experience in rural medicine preferred
• EPIC EMR system utilization

Qualifications

• For Physician Assistants: Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in Colorado, PA-C certification, DEA permit, Medicare/Medicaid eligibility, medical staff membership, and BLS certification.
• For Nurse Practitioners: Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility, Master's degree in Nursing, ANCC or AANPCB certification, NP license, DEA permit, Medicare/Medicaid eligibility, medical staff membership, BLS certification.

Pay
