About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Northern Colorado Primary Care team are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a float position. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, interested in full-time work, and focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to patients in accordance with their needs and the scope of practice as defined by their credentials.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely using the EPIC EMR system.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and accreditation standards related to healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's in Nursing for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado.
  • Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification issued by ANCC or AANPCB.
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in family medicine/primary care.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.

  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay & Schedule

The pay range for this full-time position is $110,577 - $144,966 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
