About the role

The UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Metro Denver Primary Care team are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to fill a float position. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, possess empathy, have a 'patients first' mentality, and be interested in full-time work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care services to patients
  • Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and prescribe medications
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Document patient encounters and progress notes
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competency in primary care

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Primary Care experience
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Colorado
  • Nurse Practitioner must have full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant: Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, PA-C certification, DEA permit, unrestricted medical staff membership, prescriptive authority, BLS certification
  • Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in Nursing, NP certification, DEA permit, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license, full prescriptive authority, BLS certification

Pay & Schedule

The pay range for this full-time position is $110,577 - $144,966 annually. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. A productivity incentive may be offered for this position. Competitive relocation bonus provided for this opportunity, if eligible.
