About the role

The UCHealth Medical Weight Loss Clinic in Longmont, CO, is launching and is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to manage the bariatric patient population. This role focuses on medical management and integrates with surgical support to provide comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Master's in Nursing with NP certification
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or NP in Colorado
• Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility for Nurse Practitioners
• Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications
• Eligible for Medicare and Medicaid provider status
• Unrestricted medical staff membership and appropriate practice privileges
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in Bariatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Gastroenterology preferred
• Experience in a collaborative environment
• Patient care passion
• Ready for a full-time commitment

Skills

• Strong clinical experience

Pay

The pay range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $150,765 annually. Pay is dependent on relevant experience.
