Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Weight Management

About the role

Provides primary health care within established protocols, diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and ailments.

Responsibilities

• Document care and billing
• Participate in physician educational programs
• Respond to managed care proposals
• Contribute to quality assurance, utilization management, and patient education programs
• Develop operational and capital budgets
• Assess operational efficiencies and explore revenue opportunities
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, physicians, patients, and the public to promote a positive image

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner emphasis or equivalent certification
• South Carolina Nurse Practitioner recognition
• Prescriptive authority
• Controlled substance license
• Federal DEA registration

This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or higher-level management.
