About the Role
The role involves practicing professional nursing and/or medicine by performing independent and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted standards.
Responsibilities
- Collect patient data through history-taking and examinations
- Formulate accurate diagnoses and develop treatment plans
- Perform procedures within expertise and organizational policies
- Educate and counsel patients and families on treatment, prevention, and health promotion
- Document all care activities thoroughly
- Participate in telehealth, emergency actions, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate effectively within the healthcare team
- Maintain professional competence
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Nursing for Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) or Bachelor’s Degree for Physician Assistants (PAs)
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant or Registered Nurse with applicable certifications
- Current BLS, NPI, and DEA registrations
- Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and relevant certifications, including ACLS for procedural sedation if applicable
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient advocacy skills
