About the Role

This role involves practicing professional nursing and medicine, including independent and delegated functions, to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients.

Responsibilities

  • Collect patient data through history and examinations
  • Formulate diagnoses and develop treatment plans
  • Perform procedures within scope and ensure patient safety
  • Educate patients and families on health and disease prevention
  • Document all care activities accurately
  • Manage telehealth encounters and emergency situations
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and maintain professional standards
  • Provide patient-centered care, advocacy, and education
  • Develop and implement safe, effective treatment plans
  • Perform procedures within authorized scope
  • Document patient interactions comprehensively
  • Engage in team collaboration, quality improvement, and professional development

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing for Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) or Bachelor’s Degree for Physician Assistants (PAs), with relevant accreditation
  • Valid state license and certification (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI) required
  • Additional credentials for procedural sedation and credentialing by relevant groups
  • Commitment to continuing education, quality assurance, and cultural sensitivity
