Role Overview This role involves practicing professional nursing and/or medicine, including independent and delegated functions, to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients. The practitioner will perform data collection, formulate diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and conduct procedures within their expertise and regulatory guidelines. They are responsible for patient education, counseling, thorough documentation, and ensuring safety and quality in care delivery. Collaboration with healthcare team members, maintaining professional competence, and adhering to legal and organizational policies are essential. Qualifications & Skills Master’s Degree in Nursing for APNs or Bachelor’s Degree for PAs, from accredited programs.Valid licensure (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant), certifications (e.g., BLS, DEA), and national provider identifiers.Ability to conduct physical assessments, develop treatment plans, perform procedures, and educate patients.Strong judgment, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork skills.Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities. Key Responsibilities Gather patient histories, perform exams, review labs and imaging.Formulate diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and execute medical and nursing care.Perform clinical procedures within scope and provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.Document all care activities accurately and maintain patient confidentiality.Participate in telehealth, manage administrative tasks, and respond to emergency situations.Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and uphold professional standards.
