About the role
This position involves practicing professional nursing or medicine, including independent and delegated medical functions, to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients.
Responsibilities
- Obtain comprehensive medical histories, conduct physical exams, and review relevant studies to assess patients' medical, psychological, and social status.
- Formulate accurate diagnoses, including differential diagnoses when appropriate.
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans, including medications, additional testing, consultations, and follow-up care.
- Perform procedures within expertise and in accordance with regulations and policies.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, disease prevention, and health promotion, emphasizing culturally-sensitive, evidence-based information.
- Record all examination data, diagnoses, and care activities thoroughly in medical records.
- Conduct telehealth encounters, manage urgent situations, observe safety protocols, and perform administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications
- Masters in Nursing (for APNs) or Bachelors Degree (for PAs)
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, including relevant certifications
- CPR/BLS certification within three months and National Provider Identifier at hire
- DEA registration and credentialing with the organization
Additional Requirements
- Obtain and maintain necessary credentials, with procedural sedation certification and ACLS within specified periods if applicable.
