We are seeking an Orthopedic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join a dynamic healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Include Performing physical assessments and triaging patients with orthopedic conditionsDeveloping and implementing care plans, prescribing medications, and supporting treatmentAssisting in minor procedures such as suturing, injections, and cast applicationCollaborating with physicians in patient management and interpreting diagnostic testsServing as a liaison between primary care providers and specialistsTeaching, counseling, and participating in health education programsProviding first assist support in total joint surgeries Qualifications And Skills Required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner programCurrent or eligible for board certification and licensure in MassachusettsFor Nurse Practitioners, certification as a Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) and prescriptive authorityActive BLS certification and ability to obtain DEA and controlled substances registrationPreferred: 2+ years of orthopedic experience This role offers a 4-day work week, no on-call or weekend duties, and hands-on OR experience at local surgery centers or hospitals.
