Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization serving nearly 30,000 people across rural southwest Alaska in villages with populations ranging from about 10 to over 1,000. About the role

The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (PA, NP) will contribute to the mission of the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC), “Working Together to Achieve Excellent Health.”

Possible work sites include Aniak, St. Mary's, Emmonak, Hooper Bay, and Toksook Bay, Alaska.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program and maintained certification
• Two years minimum suggested experience level
• Experience with reading radiographs and dispensing medication
• Alaska License and DEA license
• Current on CME requirements
• Computer skills needed to access computerized medical records
• Skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the area of their specialty
• Ability to supervise and mentor NP, PA students and oversee Community Health Aide clinical practice

Pay

Minimum hourly pay: $78.00

This is a full-time, 80-hour position with 40 hours per week.
